Terms of Use

Last updated: Version 2.0Draft — pending legal review

Last updated: 23 September 2026 · Version 2.0 · Draft — pending legal review

These terms are the agreement between you and [REVIEW: legal entity name] for your use of ALEB. By creating an account you accept them.

Your account

You need one working email address or mobile number, which we verify with a six-digit code. One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself: anything done with your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at support@aleb.app if you think someone else has access.

You must be at least [REVIEW: minimum age] years old.

A business profile must represent a real business you are entitled to act for. Its listed phone number and website are public by design.

What you post

You keep ownership of everything you post. You give us permission to store it and show it inside ALEB so the app can work — nothing more. We do not use your photos or text to advertise anything.

Post only what is yours to post, and do not post anything unlawful, hateful, deceptive, or sexual involving minors. The Community Guidelines describe this in plain terms and are part of these terms.

Events, listings, ratings and reservations

Events, business listings, ratings and reservations are between members. We do not host events, vet businesses, or guarantee that a reservation will be honoured. A rating must reflect genuine first-hand experience; you may rate a business once. Be careful and use your judgement when meeting people from the internet.

What we may do

We may remove content or restrict an account that breaks these terms or the guidelines, and we may act on reports from other members. Where it is reasonable we will tell you why. Serious or repeated breaches can mean permanent removal.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account. Your profile disappears from the app immediately and everything is erased after 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may end or suspend the service, or your access to it, if you break these terms, or if we stop operating ALEB — in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can.

The boring but important part

ALEB is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for what members do or say. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. [REVIEW: liability, warranty and indemnity wording for the operator's jurisdiction.]

These terms are governed by the law of [REVIEW: governing law], and disputes go to the courts of [REVIEW: jurisdiction]. [REVIEW: confirm this is compatible with consumer protection rules where members live.]

Changes

We may update these terms. The version above changes and the app shows you the new version. If you keep using ALEB, that is your acceptance; if you do not agree, delete your account.
